Good MorningU.S. stocks fell late in the session as the relief from the Treasury’s expanded buyback plan faded and long-term yields climbed again. Investors remained focused on the U.S. debt load, which has surpassed $40 trillion, while the 30-year Treasury yield stayed above 5%, reinforcing concerns about borrowing costs and equity valuations.
Company moves were sharp. Walmart fell about 10% after its fiscal second-quarter report, while Deere rallied on strength tied to construction, energy infrastructure and data-center demand. Tesla slipped after JPMorgan reported a later expected timeline for Optimus robot sales. Super Micro Computer gained after an independent board investigation found no evidence that current senior management knew of or participated in an alleged smuggling scheme.
Biotech and AI remained active themes. Moderna shares swung sharply following encouraging melanoma-vaccine results with Merck, highlighting both enthusiasm and skepticism around the mRNA opportunity. NVIDIA drew bullish attention ahead of earnings, with Jefferies forecasting a sizable revenue beat. Meanwhile, an unconfirmed report that Google could work with AMD on a future TPU added another development to the AI-chip landscape. Bitcoin rose while stocks weakened, helping lift crypto-linked names. Featured: A Free List of Seven High Yield Stocks Everyone Ignores (Ad)

Unlike treatments that suppress the immune system, Lucid-MS is designed to protect myelin, the insulating layer destroyed by the disease. In a pre-clinical mouse model, treatment led to movement recovery including walking.
Independent research projects peak annual sales of up to $5 billion if Phase 2 succeeds. The stock still trades under $5 per share. | | See why this FDA clearance could be a defining catalyst |
